As previously mentioned in other posts, San Jose resembles an abandoned building on Friday afternoons. I have probably already completed the 10 hours required by Dr. R and Dr. N, yet I stayed there two hours helping organize medical records.
Saturday was a much more entertaining day thanks to the research symposium. It was nice to present the projects I had been working on since last year, as well as meet some really neat people from Baylor (Dr. Slaughter in particular).
I conclude this brief post by letting you know that myself, Kirolos and Janice will be working on brochures dealing with child diabetes and obesity. My contribution will be translating this information to Spanish, something rather necessary at San Jose.
